Smoked Stuffed Bell Peppers

These stuffed bell peppers have ground beef, sausage, black beans, Serrano peppers and more. Then I tossed them in the smoker to flavor up the bell pepper and they were incredible! Come join us for the fun! https://youtu.be/gpIBDGl1yXg



Ingredient List

6-8 Green/Yellow/Red/Orange Bell Peppers


Ground Pork

½ pound ground pork (breakfast sausage)

Cayenne pepper to taste


Ground Beef

½ pound ground beef

Cayenne pepper to taste

Accent

5 minced cloves garlic

Salt and pepper to taste


Stuffing

Hot sauce to taste (optional)

1 diced onion

1 can Black beans

1 cup thawed frozen corn

½ cup chopped cilantro (optional)

2 cups white melting cheese...(optional)

4 chopped Jalapeno peppers (deseeded) or 2 Serrano peppers

16 oz Green salsa

Salt and peppa to taste


Preparation


Brown sausage

Add Cayenne pepper to taste


Brown ground beef

Add salt, pepper, cayenne and garlic to taste


Stuffing

Mix drained ground beef, drained ground pork, Jalapeno peppers, diced onion, black beans, chopped cilantro, corn, green salsa in large bowl.

Cook at 225-250 F in smoker or oven for about 2 hours or until pepper is at desired texture.
